Generali Investments S.p.A. was founded in March 2006 and has its head office in Trieste.

In 2007, the main asset management units in Europe located in Germany, Italy and France, were integrated into the new Generali Investments S.p.A. The shareholders in Generali Investments S.p.A. are Assicurazioni Generali, Trieste, with 40% share, and Generali Deutschland Holding AG, Aachen, and Generali France Holding, Paris, each of which has a 30% share.

Within the new fully integrated structure, competence centers were created to manage different asset classes.   Focusing on active management of core asset classes, we deliver top-quartile performance on:

• Fixed Income
• Advanced Fixed Income  

The expertise for equities is concentrated in Paris, while Trieste focuses on bond investments. Cologne is the competence center for research and strategy and for private-equity activities.

Traditional funds of funds selection is based in Paris and Hedge funds of funds selection in Lugano We provide sub-advice to most qualified third party money managers of non-core asset classes (through funds of funds selection).
