Generali Investments Partners: Nicolas Zorn joins the German Sales team to strengthen the institutional business

In Short

Frankfurt – Generali Investments Partners S.p.A. Società di gestione del risparmio (GIP) strengthens its sales office in Frankfurt am Main with the appointment of Nicolas Zorn as Sales Manager, with a focus on the relations with institutional investors.

Nicolas will support the expansion of Generali Investments’ sales capabilities in the German institutional investor market, supporting existing investors and the acquisition of new clients, targeting insurance companies, pension funds and pension schemes.

Before joining GIP, Nicolas worked in institutional sales at Wells Fargo Asset Management, where he was responsible for the DACH region as well as part of the Nordic market. Prior to that, he played a key role in building up the sales side of EB-SIM GmbH, an asset management subsidiary of Evangelische Bank. Here, too, his focus was on acquiring and servicing German institutional clients. Nicolas will report to Stephan Bannier, Head of Business Development DACH.

The appointment of Nicolas confirms the relevance of the DACH region in the strategic development of the asset management capabilities of Generali Investments and the intention to keep strengthening the local structure to be alongside investors in these markets.

Stephan Bannier, Head of Business Development DACH at Generali Investments, comments: "As an asset management platform within an insurance group, we are very familiar with the requirements of institutional investors. With Nicolas Zorn, we will be able to offer the comprehensive expertise of our specialized investment boutiques in the institutional segment in an even more targeted manner in the future."
